Servo Motor Activity

In this activity we are using the Servo Motor we will be able to visualize different scenarios for different time periods of projected mean annual precipitation.

  • Recent past(2000-2020).

  • Immediate future ( 2030-2050).

  • Near future(2060-2080).

Assembly Instructions

Functionality

micro:bit A Button

  • Cycle through the three different time periods programmed.

  • Each time the period is represented by a lit LED on the micro:bit.

micro:bit B Button

  • Cycle through the three different years within the time period.

  • Each year is represented by a lit LED on the micro:bit.

micro:bit A+B Buttons

  • Toggle between low and high-carbon scenarios for the Immediate Future and the Near Future scenarios.

Servo Motor

  • Display different precipitation levels on the pre-printed cardboard cutout.

We continue with our rainy weather in the next section, this time we are working with the fairy lights.
